Ra’alloy has a rich heritage in terms of its entrepreneurial ownership and manufacturing capability. It remains a family owned, independent business with sound business values based on quality, capability, flexibility and customer service.
The Year it All Began
The year it all began, when entrepreneur and innovator Graham Corfield decided to branch out on his own and set up a small manufacturing plant in Wolverhampton to manufacture high-quality aluminium ramps.
A Landmark Year
This year for both the country and Ra’alloy saw the UK Olympics capture the imagination of the world, with so much euphoria in cities, towns and villages all over. As a business, we too were on a high with excitement in the years building up to this historical event, having won the tender to implement complex ramp systems and provide much-needed accessibility safely whilst the Olympic Park was being built for this very momentous occasion.
The Present Day
Roll on to the present day, where Ra’alloy now employs a team of 25 to produce top quality standard and bespoke ramps, for both big and small projects. With its sister brand Aviramp, the business has grown a reputation for designing and manufacturing outstanding products for all types of sectors.
The Ra’alloy team are all long serving, skilled operatives, aluminium fabricators, welders and craftsmen, and there is no project too big nor too small, that we will not be committed to delivering.
Charlotte has been with the company around 10 years, and is a long standing member of the Ra’alloy team. She is great with customers and nothing is ever too much trouble. She acts a great liaison point between both factory and office, and is always on hand to undertake new projects and presentations. Charlotte is a great support for the team. In her spare time, Charlotte loves spending time visiting friends and is an avid Star wars fan.
Team Leader - Sales
Preet is a dedicated sales professional, who enjoys the B2B space. He is a key driving force in directing sales strategy and ensuring consistent account management to customers, old, new and existing. He is one of the most enthusiastic within the sales team, which makes him the obvious choice when leading and driving things. Outside of thinking and dreaming about ramps, Preet enjoys travelling, and helping out with his father’s business.
Luke has been a loyal member of the Ra’alloy team for nearly 20 years, and has stood by the business through thick and thin. There is very little Luke does not know and understand when it comes to ramps, and the challenges of various loading and accessibility projects. He always puts the customer first and works well with the team both office based and factory. His approach delivers a winning combination, and he is a popular member of the team. When not obsessing about work, Luke enjoys family time with his wife and baby girl.
